Duty Supervisor - Hub Operations

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day 24/7 Hub Terminal Operations to ensure safety, security, and exceptional guest experiences.
• Represent the Etihad brand regarding guest experience, service recovery, and incident management.
• Monitor and manage the service delivery of third-party suppliers and ground handlers in accordance with SLAs.
• Ensure the on-time performance of Terminal Services and provide airline oversight within the airport environment.
• Manage safety and security outcomes by identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, and reporting occurrences through established systems.
• Coordinate with Aircraft Dispatch and Load Control to maintain awareness of aircraft turnaround activity.
• Ensure all key terminal touchpoints are adequately manned to enhance the guest journey.

Requirements

• Degree level education (A-level or baccalaureate equivalent) or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in the service, hospitality, airline, or retail industry.
• Proven supervisory experience working in a high-pressure, multicultural, and shift-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of aviation, travel industry, and/or airport policies.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills with a passion for service excellence.
• Ability to balance guest-centric focus with corporate interests and strict safety standards.
