Duty Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily airport operations to ensure service excellence, operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Lead frontline operations and coordinate ground handling activities
• Ensure premium customer service and adherence to established service standards
• Monitor flight operations, special passenger handling, and operational processes
• Manage service providers and drive quality and performance improvements
• Support station administration, including audits, reporting, invoicing, and cost control
• Promote safety, security, and emergency response readiness
• Supervise staff, prepare duty rosters, and support training activities
• Maintain effective communication with passengers, authorities, suppliers, crew, and internal stakeholders
• Report operational irregularities and deputize the Station Manager as delegated

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional work experience
• At least 1 year of demonstrated experience in airport ground operations
• Previous leadership or team supervision experience
• Valid legal work permit for Malaysia
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and the local Malay language
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel when required
