About the role
Responsibilities
- Open and close the store and supervise shifts to ensure smooth operations
- Provide clear, constructive, and inspiring feedback to team members
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new staff
- Deliver exceptional customer service at the registers
- Maintain stock levels to ensure product availability for customers
- Monitor the store for incidents or hazards to maintain a safe environment
Requirements
- Ability to use initiative to improve work quality and efficiency
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues at all levels
- High level of professionalism, fairness, and responsibility
- Strong workload management skills, especially during busy periods
- Leadership skills with the ability to lead by example and promote positive team spirit
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as part of the management team
