About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations and ensure optimal guest service
- Supervise front office staff to maintain high-quality service standards
- Handle guest complaints, special requests, and overbooking situations professionally
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve operational issues and enhance guest experiences
- Review rate variance reports and approve discounts for revenue control
- Inspect front and back of house areas to maintain cleanliness and orderliness
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and loss control policies
- Provide training and orientation to new team members on hotel procedures
- Conduct night audit processes as required
Requirements
- Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality Management
- Minimum 3 years of relevant hospitality experience in a similar capacity
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software, specifically Opera Cloud
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proven ability to make quick, sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
