Duty Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the property maintenance department
• Proactively improve guest satisfaction and comfort through timely responses
• Manage the maintenance team and foster a culture of growth and performance
• Oversee the departmental budget, controlling costs and inventory
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders
• Deliver an effective planned preventative maintenance programme addressing environmental and conservation matters

Requirements

• Flexibility and a positive attitude
• Strong eye for detail
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Experience in a similar position is beneficial but not essential
