Duty Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering Supervisor in daily operations and maintenance of hotel facilities
• Oversee engineering activities during assigned shifts and respond to maintenance requests
• Monitor temperature controls for cold stores and public areas
• Ensure working condition of fire detectors, firefighting systems, and electrical systems
• Follow PPM schedules and update documentation daily
• Monitor BMS systems and utility consumption
• Respond to emergency calls and repairs across electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and occupational health procedures

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in hospitality
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with contractors and teams
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
