About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Due Diligence group by conducting research and background investigations on transactions, individuals, entities, and organizations
- Identify and mitigate associated sanctions, financial crime, and reputational risks
- Seek ways to improve client onboarding processes, periodic client reviews, and quality control activities
- Receive direction from supervisors and escalate non-routine questions or issues
- Interact with the immediate team and the wider Due Diligence area to manage information flow
- Engage indirectly with clients through relationship managers to support regulatory and policy requirements
Requirements
- 1+ year of Due Diligence support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Flexibility to work various shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Sanctions, PEP (Politically Exposed Persons), or Adverse Media research
