Duct Fabricator

Responsibilities

• Fabricate HVAC ductwork, fittings, and accessories as per approved shop drawings
• Read and interpret HVAC fabrication drawings, duct layouts, and cutting schedules
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, fold, notch, and assemble GI, stainless steel, and aluminum duct sheets
• Install duct stiffeners, flanges, cleats, corners, and reinforcement
• Operate fabrication equipment including guillotine shears, press brakes, and Pittsburgh lock machines
• Ensure fabricated duct sections comply with approved dimensions and quality requirements
• Inspect fabricated components for defects before dispatch
• Minimize material wastage by following approved cutting plans
• Maintain fabrication tools, machines, and work areas
• Coordinate with the HVAC Foreman regarding priorities and schedules
• Comply with company HSE policies and wear appropriate PPE

Requirements

• ITI / Trade Certificate in Sheet Metal, Mechanical, HVAC, or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience as a Duct Fabricator in HVAC projects
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
• Ability to work on high platforms or in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, or Industrial EPC projects
• Experience in fabrication of GI, stainless steel, and aluminum ductwork
