About the role
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and articulate incoming transfer credits for first-time students in accordance with University policies.
- Manage the transfer credit entry process and perform routine data verification.
- Build and maintain relationships with academic advising representatives and prospective students.
- Coordinate Transfer Open Houses and recruitment activities to increase the transfer student population.
- Implement strategic plans to recruit students for the Dual Enrollment program by working with high school administrators and teachers.
- Develop community partnerships to grow the Dual Enrollment program, including extensive regional travel.
- Organize registration days and visit schools to assist students with the application process and present program information.
- Provide transition assistance and support to transfer, international, and veteran student populations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-3 years of experience working with college students in a university setting.
- Proficiency with Radius CRM and Ellucian (Datatel).
- Strong skills in office automation, word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Experience in customer service specifically with high school administrators, international students, or veteran populations.
