Dual Credit Student Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assist dual credit students with retention, college preparation, and resource coordination during the school day.
• Support the Grant Manager and Dual Credit Coordinators with student recruitment, admission, and enrollment processes.
• Communicate dual credit programs, degree paths, and academic expectations to students and parents.
• Develop, deliver, and document updates regarding student progress, work experiences, and retention efforts.
• Identify at-risk students and connect them to appropriate academic interventions and social-emotional support.
• Represent the SCC3 AAS degree at high school and college events.
• Provide administrative support for record-keeping, reporting, and grant administration.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent education in a related field (relevant work experience may be substituted).
• One year of experience in records management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams), Zoom, and Blackboard or other Learning Management Systems.
• Strong skills in accurate data collection and reporting.
• Ability to travel to various high schools and multiple college campuses.
• Physical ability to walk, sit, stand, drive, and lift up to 20 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• One year of experience in student support.
• Project management skills.
• Ability to translate Spanish.
• Teaching certificate.
