Dual Chief Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee all engineering, hotel maintenance, and building operations for two select-service Marriott hotels
• Manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems
• Lead preventative maintenance programs and repair schedules to ensure guest satisfaction
• Supervise, train, and mentor the engineering and maintenance team
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and Marriott brand standards
• Coordinate vendor relationships, equipment repairs, and capital improvement projects
• Monitor energy management programs and control department expenses
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and operational needs as required

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, or Facilities Engineer within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, mechanical, and life safety systems
• Experience with hotel preventative maintenance programs and facilities management
• Understanding of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and building codes
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair hotel engineering systems and equipment
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Marriott hotel brands
