Dual Chief Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations and maintenance of the Aloft and Element Arundel Mills hotels
• Lead, train, and mentor the engineering team
• Schedule and direct daily engineering operations to support hotel performance
• Manage physical building structures and all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Oversee capital improvement projects and ensure cost-effective operations
• Maintain assets through preventative maintenance and energy conservation programs
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience as a Chief Engineer or Facilities Engineer in a hospitality environment
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and local building codes
• Proficiency in preventative maintenance procedures
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to pass a background check
