DSP Applications Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with the architecture team to define the next generation NSP
• Enable state-of-the-art network models and new AI software features to meet customer use-cases
• Evaluate and optimize neural networks runtime performance and accuracy
• Develop the AI software stack on Qualcomm NSP

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in Software, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (or 1+ year with a Master's degree)
• 2+ years of experience with high-performance microprocessor design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in embedded systems development
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or ONNX
• Background in mathematical algorithms using fast math libraries and vector instruction sets
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
