Dry Utilities Foreman

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute assigned projects and direct employees' daily tasks
• Manage daily paperwork including employee/equipment schedules, production tracking, and safety logs
• Work with superintendents to build dry utility crews and develop site earthwork plans
• Implement plans to meet project schedules and budgets
• Install dry utilities according to project specifications
• Track progress against estimated costs to maintain profit margins
• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors regarding utilities
• Ensure site safety by maintaining compliance with OSHA and company policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience
• Ability to read and interpret grading plans, specifications, and geotechnical information
• Experience with various equipment spreads and grade checking methods (GPS, rotating laser, etc.)
• Fundamental knowledge of GPS equipment, forecasting production rates, and drilling/blasting
• Proficiency with technology such as iPads or basic laptop skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal leadership skills
