About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure weekly dry grocery orders are put up on time and accurately
- Sort and label incoming vendor receivables according to PO Dock Copy/Pick Tickets
- Consolidate sorted and labeled receivables to customer orders
- Pick grocery orders according to pick ticket with an emphasis on accuracy
- Build high-quality pallets for shipment to remote areas of Alaska
- Participate in monthly inventory counting and double-checking
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all food safety and quality protocols
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs
- Ability to work in frozen (-10 F) and refrigerated (36 F) environments
- Intermediate English skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience riding a pallet jack or forklift
- Experience in grocery or produce industries
