Drone Spray Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform drone spray applications in industrial environments
• Operate in full compliance with FAA Part 107 and internal safety guidelines
• Conduct routine drone maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance
• Evaluate job sites for flight feasibility, safety risks, and operational efficiency
• Provide customer demonstrations and maintain professional communications
• Travel throughout the US for field operations as the program expands

Requirements

• Experience operating drones, especially in agricultural or chemical application roles
• Proficiency with drone control software and flight planning tools
• Ability to perform pre-flight inspections, plan flight paths, and execute missions safely
• FAA Part 107 Commercial Remote Pilot License (or ability to obtain within 1 month)
• Valid driver's license with at least 5 years of clean driving history
• Ability to travel up to 3 weeks at a time and operate a truck with trailer
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Spray application experience
• Commercial Applicator's License (training provided if not currently certified)
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies
