Drone Mapping Specialist

Responsibilities

• Travel to dairy farms across the region to complete drone mapping
• Coordinate farm visits based on weather, farmer availability, and deployment priorities
• Liaise directly with farmers regarding visit times and access requirements
• Capture consistent, high-quality aerial imagery for ortho maps
• Upload, log, and verify mapping data accurately after each visit
• Represent Halter professionally while working on customer farms
• Perform other farm-based activities as required

Requirements

• Confident communicator able to build rapport with farmers
• Strong organizational and independent planning skills
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• High attention to detail for data logging and uploading
• Practical problem-solving skills for changing field conditions
• Full, clean driver's licence
• Ability to travel and stay away from home 2–3 nights per week
