Driving Instructor

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory manual driver licence education to target clients
• Maintain appropriate records of training and progress
• Support and promote engagement with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and groups
• Attend stakeholder meetings and required training sessions
• Ensure all driver-funded vehicles are maintained to a high standard

Requirements

• Current WA Manual Driving Licence
• Current WA Driving Instructor Licence
• Experience working effectively with youth and adults with challenging behaviours
• Demonstrated experience working unsupervised in rural or remote regions
• Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and community issues
• Ability to clear probity checks, including National Criminal History and WA Working with Children Check
