Driver/Warehouse Worker

Responsibilities

• Drive ministry unit transit vehicles for the pickup of donations and delivery of goods
• Ensure safe handling of all deliveries, donations, and vehicles while maintaining cleanliness
• Perform vehicle circle checks, maintain logs, and report mechanical concerns
• Load and unload goods at thrift stores, food banks, and other designated destinations
• Assist with warehouse duties including receiving, sorting, and documenting products
• Maintain inventory of food products and prepare food for distribution
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and stackers as needed
• Maintain a safe work environment by keeping exits clear and following health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school
• Valid Ontario Class G driver's license with a satisfactory driver's abstract
• Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience
• Minimum of 3 months of experience in warehouse and stocking procedures
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending, crouching, and reaching
• Ability to pass a background check clearance
