Driver Transport

Responsibilities

• Safely drive tractor-trailer combination vehicles to and from destinations, adhering to DOT regulations and local traffic routes
• Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of products
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck equipment, including tires, lights, brakes, and fluids
• Verify delivery directions with plant personnel to ensure accuracy for customers and job sites
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform minor roadside repairs as needed
• Maintain constant communication with dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions
• Adhere to all company and regulatory safety standards, including DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and MSHA

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CDL Driver
• Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• Acceptable CSA score with no more than 3 moving violations in the previous 7 years
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, including hearing tests and drug/alcohol screening
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Bilingual skills
