Driver Transport

Responsibilities

• Safely drive tractor-trailer combination vehicles to and from destinations following DOT regulations
• Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of products
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck equipment, including tires, lights, brakes, and fluids
• Verify delivery directions with plant personnel to ensure accuracy for customers and job sites
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and personal professional appearance
• Maintain constant contact with dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions
• Adhere to all CEMEX, DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and MSHA safety rules and regulations
• Assist other company employees and promote a team-oriented environment

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CDL Driver
• No DUI/DWI convictions within the last 5 years
• Acceptable CSA score with no more than 3 moving violations in the previous 7 years
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, including hearing tests and drug/alcohol screening
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Ability to perform heavy physical work, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Bilingual skills
