About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver in house, periodic Driver CPC training
- Deliver training relating to drivers’ hours, tachographs, and WTD rules and regulations
- Provide new starter training and inductions
- Monitor and evaluate all training provided, assessing needs and ensuring requirements are met
- Report on driver performance using counselling and coaching techniques
- Maintain up to date and accurate records of all driver training
- Liaise with the Transport Management team to maximise training benefits
- Monitor driving standards and provide guidance to H&S, Transport, and HR departments
- Complete risk assessments and safe working practices for customer sites and delivery points
Requirements
- LGV C&E Driving Licence
- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified to Advanced driving level
