Driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver material in a timely manner to customers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance daily
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents, or violations

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Class "A" CDL license
• Five years of experience working as a CDL driver
• Minimum of 3 years verifiable interstate driving experience
• Excellent safety driving record with no violations in the last 3 years
• No at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical or possess a valid medical certificate
• Proficiency using GPS and communicating via CB radio/cab computer
