Driver - Side Lift

Responsibilities

• Operate a side-lift collection vehicle for municipal contracts
• Perform loading and unloading duties of waste
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction during service delivery
• Maintain the presentation of the vehicle, both inside and out
• Regularly exit the truck to move bins throughout the assigned run

Requirements

• Valid HR Licence with at least 12 months of driving experience
• Ability to work an early morning start (5:00am)
• Clean driving record
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Physical fitness to handle demanding manual tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the waste management industry
• Prior experience operating side-lift vehicles
