Driver

Responsibilities

• Ensure security and accountability of materials to and from local business partners within a 120-mile radius
• Perform physical and administrative tasks for distributing materials, parts, and equipment
• Safely deliver and pick up materials to and from local business partners and end users
• Handle hazardous materials in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure traceability of all goods using ERP systems and handheld devices
• Track and communicate the status of deliveries within the Rocket Lab tracking system
• Operate a forklift and lift heavy items
• Adhere to all local and state driving laws and company safety policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years of experience, including driving company-owned vehicles
• Valid driver’s license with no history of suspensions

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Forklift Certification
• Experience with heavy equipment (sit down and stand up forklifts)
• Experience driving large vehicles such as Sprinter vans, 22-foot box trucks, or stake beds
• Background in shipping, receiving, or material handling
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with freight carriers like FedEx, UPS, and DHL
