Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process for drivers and maintain a pool of prospective candidates
• Source, recruit, screen, and interview experienced driver candidates via various channels
• Cultivate a positive culture, quality performance, and safe environment for drivers
• Assist candidates with employment applications and paperwork
• Manage driver hours to minimize overtime while maintaining service metrics
• Conduct background checks, road tests, and provide required training
• Ensure compliance with company, client, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Conduct facility safety inspections and investigate vehicle accidents or injuries
• Develop accident and injury prevention plans and lead safety meetings

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years in safety and training (transportation industry preferred)
• Experience recruiting CDL or B1 drivers is preferred
• Expertise in HOS, DOT regulations, and driver welfare
• Solid understanding of the trucking industry
• Previous experience recruiting USA/CANADA drivers
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• English fluency is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in driver training, recruitment, and safety & compliance
• At least three years of truck driving experience
