Driver Ready Mix Trainee

Responsibilities

• Safely drive ready-mix trucks to and from various job sites
• Deliver concrete loads in a timely manner while navigating diverse environments and uneven ground
• Adhere to all safety regulations set by CEMEX, D.O.T., and O.S.H.A.
• Inspect and adjust concrete loads to ensure correct color, consistency, and slump
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the truck and equipment
• Provide professional customer service and coordinate with dispatch for efficient operations
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and managing extension chutes

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Acceptable CSA and MVR record
• No DUI/DWI convictions within the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations in the previous 3 years
• Must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Bilingual skills
