Driver Pick-up & Delivery/Shipper-Receiver

Responsibilities

• Perform pick-up and delivery of cylinder products using palletized trucks
• Ensure compliance with hazardous materials transportation laws, TDG regulations, and MTO standards
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service, maintaining liaison with customers and warehouse teams
• Load and unload trucks efficiently, applying dangerous goods placards as required
• Inspect cylinders for damage and record defective units using the Quality System
• Maintain accurate administrative records, including delivery notes, receipts, and ELD documentation
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing cylinders for filling and operating forklifts

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Valid Class DZ or AZ License
• Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, pushing, and pulling
• Knowledge of WHMIS (training provided)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and follow strict safety protocols
• Ability to pass MOT physical, drug test, and criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional driving experience
• Experience operating similar equipment in various traffic and weather conditions
• Valid forklift certification
