Driver Operations Manager

About the Company

8Fleet is a rapidly growing LA-based technology and logistics startup building the operational infrastructure for both autonomous and non-autonomous rideshare fleets.

Responsibilities

• Own driver-level performance metrics including utilization, online hours, trip quality, and safety indicators
• Build and maintain dashboards to surface trends and identify underperformance
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for Ops Coordinators
• Partner with Ops Coordinators to ensure performance insights are communicated to drivers
• Support on-the-ground operational issues, including driver or vehicle-related problems
• Monitor the impact of performance initiatives and iterate based on results

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in operations, analytics, logistics, or similar execution-heavy roles
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and identify patterns
• Experience working with performance metrics and dashboards
• Strong ownership mentality and bias toward action
• Willingness to support hands-on operations as needed
• Excellent organization and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with rideshare platforms (Uber, Lyft) or fleet operations
