Driver Manager

Responsibilities

• Communicate ETAs with load planners
• Utilize McLeod operating software to assign work to drivers
• Direct daily driver activities to designated territories or dedicated operations
• Provide guidance on compliance with local, state, and federal trucking statutes
• Ensure drivers are safe, productive, and deliver on-time
• Counsel drivers and assist with over the road issues
• Assist drivers with maintaining important documents like driver's licenses and physicals

Requirements

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field, or 1-3 years of dispatch/fleet management experience
• Proficient experience with truck dispatch software
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Flatbed experience
