Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive the Kotyck Bros truck safely in compliance with company policy and provincial legislation
• Load and secure customer orders at the Profit Centre for delivery
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report mechanical issues
• Complete driver logs and manage shipping documents including GHS
• Unload materials at customer and vendor locations and obtain signatures
• Resolve shipping discrepancies with customers on-site
• Provide sales leads by identifying prospective customers during deliveries
• Support Profit Centre activities and team tasks

Requirements

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s licence
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Knowledge of motor vehicle and commercial vehicle regulations
• Understanding of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act
• Ability to operate a delivery vehicle and material handling equipment
• Strong relationship building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving a truck and making deliveries
• Knowledge of plumbing or building products
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
