Driver III CDL

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up dialysis products from home patients and clinics following established safety procedures
• Maintain high-level customer relations by delivering orders on time and behaving professionally
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Conduct rotation and inventory checks of existing products to ensure adequate availability
• Adhere to all federal and state DOT regulations, including GVW and hours of service
• Load and unload freight and operate material-handling equipment safely
• Obtain customer signatures for all pickups and deliveries and ensure accurate paperwork

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Valid Class A or Class B commercial driver's license
• 2-4 years of related driving experience
• Satisfactory driving record with minimal DOT violations or accidents
• Ability to perform heavy work, including frequent lifting and carrying of 25-75 pounds
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a HazMat endorsement
• Experience with on-board computers, paperless DOT logs, or electronic capture applications
• Experience with routing software and fleet management systems
