Driver II

Responsibilities

• Ensure security and accountability of materials to and from local business partners
• Ensure materials are available to meet production and sales schedules
• Perform physical and administrative tasks for distributing materials, parts, and equipment
• Safely deliver and pick up material to and from local business partners and end users
• Handle hazardous materials in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure traceability of goods using ERP systems and handheld devices
• Track and communicate the status of deliveries
• Operate a forklift and lift heavy items
• Adhere to all local and state driving laws and company safety policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of experience, including driving company-owned vehicles
• Valid CDL driver's license with no history of suspensions

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Forklift Certification
• Material handling experience
• Experience with heavy equipment (sit down and stand up forklifts)
• Experience driving large vehicles
• Related experience in shipping and receiving
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with freight carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL
