Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide official transportation for the Regional Director, staff, mission members, and visitors within Mexico City and throughout Mexico.
• Ensure passenger safety by following road safety guidelines, identifying safe routes, and maintaining vehicle security.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, including performing daily security checks, keeping cleanliness standards, and updating mileage log-books and maintenance records.
• Deliver and collect official documents and supplies from Government Ministries, Embassies, and IFC clients.
• Support Country Office administrative functions during non-driving periods, such as mail distribution, photocopying, filing, and handling courier services.
• Assist with incoming shipments and customs clearances as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least five years of professional driving experience, preferably with international organizations.
• Excellent knowledge of Mexico’s traffic rules and a strong commitment to road safety.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, and maintain punctuality.
• Strong communication skills, mature judgment, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a multi-cultural environment.
• Proven ability to navigate efficiently by staying informed about traffic conditions, roadworks, and security advisories.
