Driver, HIAB

Responsibilities

• Operate HIAB-equipped trucks for the safe transportation, loading, unloading, and lifting of materials and equipment.
• Use the truck-mounted crane to lift and position materials according to approved lifting procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with UAE regulations.
• Secure all loads properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Conduct routine checks on crane components, hydraulic systems, and lifting accessories, reporting any defects immediately.
• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Comply with all UAE traffic laws, company driving policies, and project-specific safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including permits and inspection records.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Heavy Driving License.
• 3–5 years of experience operating HIAB trucks or heavy vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Ability to read and understand lifting instructions, delivery notes, and site requirements.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Physical fitness to work in yard, site, and remote project environments.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and extended hours as project demands require.
