Driver Helper

Responsibilities

• Assist delivery drivers with unloading products and delivering items to customer locations
• Check product quality and perform rotation of produce at customer sites
• Drive to various locations to support the delivery driver
• Communicate order discrepancies (shorts) to the appropriate channels
• Handle customer complaints with professionalism
• Follow driver safety rules and perform pre-trip inspections of company equipment

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds frequently
• Experience operating handcarts and electric pallet jacks
• Basic arithmetic and communication skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and cold warehouse environments
• Physical ability to climb on and off the truck and perform bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
