Driver Helper

Responsibilities

• Unload and load product into warehouse in a safe and efficient manner
• Identify, count, sort, pick, package, unpackage, stock and move product in warehouse
• Load product for customer deliveries in a safe, efficient and timely manner
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain required logs
• Complete and maintain required customer delivery paperwork
• Operate delivery vehicle in a safe manner and comply with company and motor vehicle traffic requirements
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as required
• Perform inventory cycle counts and general housekeeping duties

Requirements

• Valid driver’s abstract
• 1 year warehouse or truck driving experience preferred
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting
• Ability to work under variable weather conditions
• Capacity for extensive standing, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, and walking
• Proficiency with small hand tools, pallet jacks, and forklifts
