Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely in compliance with traffic laws and provincial regulations
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to multiple destinations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload vehicles and secure cargo properly
• Deliver materials and obtain necessary signatures and documentation
• Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve shipping discrepancies
• Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery records
• Comply with shipping documents and hazardous materials regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid D/Z driver's license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of traffic laws and motor vehicle regulations
• Ability to operate and maneuver various vehicle sizes
• Physical capability to load, unload, and secure cargo
• Strong communication and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
• Familiarity with hazardous materials handling
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
• Knowledge of local geography and route optimization
• Experience with material handling equipment
