Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive the EMCO truck safely in compliance with company policy and provincial legislation
• Load and secure materials at the Profit Centre for delivery to customers or vendors
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report mechanical issues
• Unload materials at delivery sites and obtain necessary signatures
• Resolve shipping discrepancies with customers at delivery sites
• Complete driver logs at the end of each workday
• Support Profit Centre activities and perform other tasks as requested

Requirements

• Valid DZ License
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Knowledge of motor vehicle and commercial vehicle regulations
• Understanding of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act
• Ability to operate material handling equipment
• Strong relationship building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving a truck and making deliveries
• College or University degree
