Driver cum Helper

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery trucks to transport materials, components, and finished products to designated locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report mechanical issues
• Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling, stacking, and securing of cargo
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to verify delivery schedules, documentation, and inventory accuracy
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance
• Adhere to all local traffic laws, company safety policies, and industry regulations

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial truck operation
• 1–3 years of proven experience as a truck driver or delivery assistant in a manufacturing or logistics setting
• Physical fitness to lift and move heavy items up to 25 kg
• Strong understanding of delivery procedures, route planning, and time management
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and overtime as required
• Proficiency in basic documentation, reporting, and communication tools
