Driver Class A

Responsibilities

• Transport and unload products to customers
• Perform thorough daily pre and post trip inspections
• Maintain truck and driving records, including driver logs and performance forms
• Comply with organizational policies and state/local driving regulations
• Handle and load/unload glass and metal products
• Secure loads and operate boom cranes
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety policies

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Two years of verifiable, accident-free driving experience or completion of an accredited DOT driver training class
• Valid Class A license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to obtain a medical examiner’s certificate of physical qualification
• Ability to drive tractor trailers and rack glass trucks
• Ability to be certified on the Moffet
