Driver Check In Associate

Responsibilities

• Check-in drivers upon route completion by verifying returned products, signed invoices, and missed deliveries
• Account for company property including pallets, totes, and other equipment
• Inspect returned products to determine if they are suitable for restocking or require credit
• Identify missed collections and notify Credit Services accordingly
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed during the return process and coordinate with Food Safety personnel
• Document all delivery exceptions on invoices or exception reports
• Separate, stage, and count returned items to ensure quantities match return sheets and invoices
• Code damaged or inferior products with appropriate reason codes for efficient processing

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• 1 year of experience operating a pallet jack and/or forklift
• Basic math skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals)
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Solid problem-solving and listening skills
