About the role
Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment
- Maintain a clean and serviceable fleet including washing and greasing
- Promptly and accurately complete all relevant forms and documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and transport shop floor
- Comply with organizational policies and procedures
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the dispatcher and Transportation Manager
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid CZ-Class Driver License
- Clean driving record
- 2 years of experience operating CZ vehicles
- 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to achieve and maintain Government of Canada Security Clearance
- Continuous residency in Canada for the last 10 years
- Proficiency with hand tools and powered equipment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of DND policies and procedures
