Driver

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver both bulk and non-bulk chemical products in a safe and conscientious manner
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in a mechanically sound, safe, and clean condition
• Complete all required paperwork, including log books, truck inspection forms, run sheets, and bills of lading, accurately and on time
• Ensure a safe work environment by reporting unsafe conditions immediately to District Management
• Schedule activities to ensure timely completion and keep the business informed of results
• Support the commercial group and work toward meeting business goals

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid and relevant driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
• Air brake certificate
• Minimum 2 years of experience handling and transporting hazmat chemicals (including pumping and air pad displacement)
• Strong knowledge of TDG and WHMIS requirements
• Understanding of the Highway Traffic Act as it relates to truck driving
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Proficiency with transportation technology, such as electronic logging, online training, and telemetry
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check (CRC)
