Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 8 tractors and related equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous liquid and dry chemical materials
• Perform bulk and packaged deliveries, including loading and unloading using pumps, air, and other equipment
• Execute proper transfer, securement, and documentation for all deliveries
• Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and site-specific safety regulations, including placarding and pre-inspections
• Maintain assigned equipment, including ELDs, camera systems, and tracking units
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers regarding delivery instructions

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
• Current DOT medical card
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
• Current TWIC card (or proof of application)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and frequently move up to 150 lbs
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT fit-for-duty exam
• Must reside within 60 miles of the location

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of liquid bulk hauling experience
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial truck driving experience
• Certification from an Accredited Commercial Driving Academy
