Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 8 tractors and related equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous chemical materials.
• Perform bulk and packaged deliveries, including the loading and unloading of liquids and solids using pumps and air.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards, including proper placarding, labeling, and documentation.
• Manage entire delivery processes from transport and transfer to securement and paperwork execution.
• Maintain assigned equipment, including ELDs, camera systems, and tracking units, ensuring good housekeeping and working order.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers regarding delivery instructions and status.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Current TWIC card or proof of application.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and frequently move up to 150 lbs.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT fit-for-duty exam.
• Must reside locally (within sixty miles of the location).

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of liquid bulk hauling experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial truck driving experience.
• Certification from an Accredited Commercial Driving Academy.
