Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 8 tractors and related equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous chemical materials (liquid and dry).
• Perform bulk and packaged deliveries, including loading and unloading using pumps, air, and other equipment.
• Execute proper transfer, securement, and documentation for all deliveries and inter-company transfers.
• Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and site-specific safety regulations, including placarding, pre-inspection, and daily logs.
• Maintain assigned equipment, including ELDs, camera systems, and tracking units, ensuring good housekeeping and working order.
• Utilize technology-based devices such as smartphones and tablets for safety, compliance, and business operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and frequently move up to 150 lbs.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT fit-for-duty exam.
• Must reside within 60 miles of the location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of liquid bulk hauling experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial truck driving experience.
• Certification from an Accredited Commercial Driving Academy.
