Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 8 power units for the safe distribution of liquid and dry hazardous and non-hazardous chemical materials
• Manage bulk and packaged deliveries, including loading and offloading using pumps, air, and other equipment
• Perform in-plant movements, spotting, and inter-company branch transfers
• Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and site-specific safety regulations, including proper labeling, placarding, and daily logs
• Maintain assigned equipment, including ELDs, camera systems, and tracking units
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers regarding delivery instructions

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
• Current DOT medical card
• Proficiency in operating manual transmissions
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and frequently move up to 150 lbs
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and potentially forklifts
• Must reside within 60 miles of the location
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT fit-for-duty exam

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of liquid bulk hauling experience
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial truck driving experience
• Certification from an Accredited Commercial Driving Academy
• Current TWIC card
