Driver Assistant

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely, including team lifting when required
• Assist drivers with the pickup and delivery of freight
• Ensure all items arrive safely and in good condition
• Complete scanning tasks and delivery paperwork accurately
• Perform daily vehicle checks and follow all safety procedures
• Maintain a professional appearance by wearing the correct uniform and PPE
• Provide friendly and helpful service to customers

Requirements

• Physically fit and capable of lifting, pushing, and moving freight
• Basic computer and scanning skills
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
