Driver Assistant DEA

Responsibilities

• Act as a witness at customer locations where DEA controlled substances are involved
• Ride along with a CDL Driver to assist with duties at stops
• Video the destruction process of DEA controlled substances and upload video into employer system
• Load containers and supplies to truck for daily service stops
• Assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials
• Follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) procedures
• Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Drive non-DOT regulated vehicle to customer sites as needed

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel)
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with hazardous materials
• One or more years of related experience
• Knowledge of OSHA Regulations
• Ability to operate a forklift
